The Demon In My Bathroom

I had several statues of people made, and I guess sold, but one of them was of one of my coworkers that I apparently had a crush on. I must have been a teenager because the bathroom in this dream was the one in my old apartment where I lived with my mom. I went into the bathroom one night and the statue was there. I guess I kissed the statue, and it came to life. I remember its once gray stone eyes turned brown and it started talking. I visited the statue every night to play out fantasies with a guy I'd never have. Then one day something seemed odd to me (about a living statue? -gasp- No way!) I went into the bathroom and found it sitting in my shower and I confronted it. I don't remember how I knew what it was, but I said it had to be a demon. Of course, it smiled a wicked smile and applauded me for finally figuring out that I had been kissing and cuddling a demon in disguise. I think I had a dog that tried to attack him because I remember he had a hellhound that he summoned to attack us. The demon dog looked an awful lot like the demon from Insidious as far as its coloring. It was red with black stripes in all directions. I tried to tell it to leave me and my family alone in the name of Jesus Christ and all those normal rebukes that people try, but it just laughed at me. I eventually left the bathroom and the apartment. I kept telling myself it had to be a dream because there was no way this was happening and trying to wake myself up over and over as I ran down the same sidewalk I used to play on as a child. I think my dog may have been with me, but I don't remember. I think I either went back home to face the demon again or it followed me, but just as that was about to happen, I woke up. I remember my mother also being in this dream, but I don't remember much about her. We may have spoken some, and I tried to hide my infatuation with the statue from her. There was also a woman who looked somewhat like Whoppi's character (whose name I can't remember right now) in the movie Ghost. She had braids and was wearing a yellow dress, and she was kind of big. I don't recall her role in the dream, but I think I saw her and talked to her like three times. She may have been the one who told me about the statue's true identity.
