With all these celebrities dying lately, it's no surprise I dreamed about dead people. I dreamed that my mom and I were living in the apartment we used to have. There was a giant spiderweb in my room, and I asked my mom to get rid of it for me, so she sucked it up with our old green vacuum cleaner, but she left a little web, so I went into her room to find her dusting and stuff and we argued briefly about the spider web (she said she didn't want to get the rest because she hated it), but I think she eventually got it. Before she had sucked up the web the first time, I remember us agreeing that you have to crush spider eggs and kill all the spiderlings to get rid of spiders in your home. I remember asking her why she was still on earth and hadn't crossed over, and she said she didn't know. And I told her I had heard that heaven is what people want it to be, and suggested that maybe she was happy here and so this was heaven for her. I also asked her why she bothered to clean the apartment when she was a ghost and no one even knew she was there, and she told me she just didn't want a dirty home. At some point I came in my room while my mom was cleaning to find the ghosts of my favorite band (who actually are not dead), and got really excited and gave them all hugs and everything before they shrunk and disappeared, leaving only a doll of my favorite member. Earlier in the dream I remember a cafe type area with uno cards on practically every table. I was with someone (don't remember who) and I just suddenly started crying and said that I had just realized how much David Bowie dying had truly affected me. We went on to play uno. Later my mother and I attended a dinner party full of ghosts. There were several celebrities (including Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow and the guy who played Ragetti (neither of which are actually dead I don't think). I was a bit disappointed that neither David Bowie nor Alan Rickman nor any of the members from my favorite band had attended the dinner, but happy that I had known some of the celebrities. We played some party games and made up songs, and later as I was eating, a dyke looking girl crashed the party and stole a piece of bacon off my plate, apologizing for coming in uninvited to my family gathering. She was alive so I asked if she could see any of us and she said no, she just saw the food going down. At about that point I guess I realized I was a ghost because I started thinking about how I was gonna just quit my job and nothing else would matter, and I would finally be happy.
