The Black Pages

I dreamed that we were at home and the power went out, but it was okay because Jimmy's dad had bought us a ton of batteries for our video game. We put our son to bed in a normal adult bed instead of his crib and surrounded him with pillows, intending to keep him safe, but in his sleep he had moved a bunch of the pillows around and there was a hole big enough for him to get out of.
I don't know if this was a seperate dream, but I had them in the same sleep session. I was at a store, and I think my mom was there with me. We were shopping some sales and found some light up toys that were designed to be like fireworks. My mother really wanted them, so I bought them even though I wasn't sure I was going to have enough money. At the checkout, I ran back into the store to find a copy of The Phantom of the Opera, but the only one I found was a box set with Titanic and some other really long movie (probably Gone With the Wind because that is the longest movie I ever saw in school.). I went further into the store and ended up in an office waiting room sort of area, where I found a grocery store bag with a set of books in it called The Phantom of the Opera House. The covers were all black and white with inky looking designs, and each one was different. I think one was a skull. Inside the bag, I also found a large notebook with several pages of black paper in the center of all the white paper like a chalk board or that gel pen paper that used to be all the rage when I was a kid. Stuff was written on it in white chalk, and apparently it was a magic notebook that was supposed to make people be nice to you. You had to write down what you wanted to happen to them, and it would happen, kind of like a Death Note that wasn't necessarily used to kill people.
